Hello!
We played last week at Hampton's in Southampton - it was awesome! Thanks so much to everyone who listened to us!
We then headed to Devon to stay with our friend Peter Miles who is a recording engineer. Over the weekend, a SERIOUS amount of music was played. In between a lot of hanging out, a lot of Morgans Spiced Rum, eating the best food ever and a veritable plethora of 3 hour long progressive rock jams with piano, hammond organ and harmonium we managed to make 10 live recordings of Drawings songs. Expect documented proof to be arriving via the noughts and ones very soon, both visual and aural. This is a multi sensory excursion after all - prepare by filling your stomachs with more food than you really want to eat, just because, well, it's Christmas!
A our friend of ours called Steve plays in the band Lost On Landing and after our performance at Hampton's kindly invited to be special guests at the gig they were putting on last night at The Joiners in Southampton. Of course we graciously accepted and so headed back from Devon with a slightly hasty attitude towards road safety for the opportunity to play for some unsuspecting ears! We really enjoyed ourselves! We hope you guys did too - let us know via one of the many ways to write words to us on Ourspace!
Take care and Merry Christmas!

Calm before the storm.
Aloha.
December 18th 2008 is almost upon us. On the evening of said date the trio known only as "Drawings" will be performing enough (both) pre-rehearsed and improvised sound wave patterns to fully occupy the time slot allocated to them (approx. 30 minutes).
The word on street level is roaring with excitement about how the evenings proceedings are going to be "bear bruts", "bangin'", "fresh" and "really good" so via this internet portal I hope the noughts and ones reach you in roughly the same order I am sending them and you will be pleased at the outcome of the time invested in deciphering the, somewhat colloquialised, written communication reaching you and thus plans will be made a.s.a.p* for you to attend the concert, perhaps with some school friends or work collegues.
Please note that tickets are required to gain entry to the concert and are available from Reskue Skateboard Shop in Southampton City Centre at just £5.
We Heart Art.
